Thursday marks the start of Lagoa’s 18th Mostra do Doce Conventual sweets fair, which will take place until Sunday at the São José convent’s cultural centre.
The event allows visitors to try a wide range of cakes, jams, honey, nuts, caramels, liqueurs, and wines. However, the ‘must-try’ sweet will be Lagoa’s ‘Florados de Lagoa’.
The event is free and runs every day from 7pm to midnight.
