Lagos' Santo António church reopens

Lagos’ Santo António church opened this week, 10 months after it was closed due to structural problems with its ceiling.
Revealing that the problems are “not as serious as was feared”, the council has erected a temporary structure to “guarantee the safety of visitors” and allowed the church to reopen.
Renovation work will be undertaken soon by municipal company Futurlagos, say the council.
