Lagos’ stunning Ponta da Piedade to host running challenge

Ponta da Piedade, the stunning coastal spot in Lagos, will host a new running challenge called ‘Trail da Ponta da Piedade’ on Sunday, February 23 at 9am.

The event will be divided into two main races (21km and 13km), a “parents/children race” and one leisurely coastal walk which will explore “the natural beauty of Lagos’ golden coast”.

There will be prizes for the winners of the running challenges, while the hike won’t be timed and will be open “to the whole family, including four-legged friends”.

To participate in the races, runners must be aged 16 (for the 13km trail) or 18 (for the 21km trail).

Those interested in signing up can do so on the event’s official website. Prices vary depending on which challenge you sign up for.
