30 passengers got the shock of their lives on Tuesday morning as the train they were travelling in went off the rails after colliding with mud and stones that had fallen on the track.
The accident happened between Vila Nova de Foz Coa and Peso da Régua in Vila Real. No one was hurt.
A second train collected passengers while work went through the night to “reestablish conditions of safety”.
