Lively puppies are keeping us busy!
Spring has arrived, and at Cadela Carlota, we have our hands full with some adorable new arrivals! Our four little devils – four lively puppies – are keeping us busy. Towels and blankets don’t last long in their playful paws, and every now and then, we find ourselves rushing to the vet for the usual puppy troubles like vomiting and diarrhoea. It hasn’t been easy, but we are optimistic that they’ll continue to grow strong and healthy. With a bit of luck, they’ll soon find their forever homes!
We need blankets!
With so many energetic young dogs at the shelter, we’re in desperate need of blankets and towels. These help keep the puppies warm and comfortable, but they don’t last long with all the chewing and tugging! If you have any spares, please consider donating them to us. Every little bit helps!
Sandi is still waiting for her forever home
While our puppies are just beginning their journey, one of our long-time residents, Sandi, is still waiting for her happy ending. Sandi was found as a puppy in the countryside near Vila do Bispo, alongside her mother and two sisters. While her family was adopted, she remains at the shelter, waiting for the right family to come along.
Sandi is a cheerful, energetic young dog who loves to run and explore. She’s incredibly curious and would thrive in a home that offers her plenty of adventures. She gets along well with other dogs, though she does have a cheeky habit of trying to eat their food as well as her own! Apart from that, she is a loving, loyal companion who is ready to bring joy to the right person or family.
