Life-saving training being introduced to students

INEM and the national education board (DGE) have signed an agreement that will see the introduction of “live-saving” basic life support training for students from seventh to ninth grade, as well as school workers and teachers.

In a statement, INEM said it is “fundamental” that people witnessing life-threatening situations know how to act, “calling 112 immediately and beginning the basic life support (reanimation) manoeuvres”.
