Lithuanian tourist dies in Madeira after being swept into sea by wave

A Lithuanian tourist has died in Madeira, after being swept into the sea by a wave from a pontoon in Ponta Delgada. The 63-year-old had been in the company of her husband, close to an area with swimming pools, when the wave hit, dragging her into the turbulent sea. Her body was recovered some hours later by an Air Force helicopter, not far from where she had fallen.
