Loulé Council has announced the dissolution of the Querença, Tôr and Benafim Parish Union, which it says has proven to be unsuccessful.
“This union of parishes was the result of a “clear legislative error”, dating back to 2023, “which evidently harmed the populations” of the three parishes.
Each parish is due to have its own parish council following the next local elections in 2025.
