A total of 8,400 trees were planted in Loulé last year, a higher number than what had been set in the municipality’s climate change adjustment strategy.
The trees were planted all over the borough and as part of many different initiatives, one of which was the ‘Operação Montanha Verde’ project which alone was responsible for the plantation of 5,500 trees.
