Loulé council has announced it will be doing away with paid parking between 4pm and 7pm during the Christmas season, in a bid to attract people to local shops. Starting on Friday (December 4), parking meters will have a notice saying charges are suspended during the season’s ‘happy hours’. The afternoon charges will return on January 4.
