Gymnastics || Loulé is set to become trampoline central, as it hosts the 5th Loulé World Cup and the 9th Loulé Cup between September 5 – 7 at the municipal sports complex.
The Loulé Cup is accredited by the International Gymnastics Federation and has become one of the largest trampoline competitions of the world – featuring trampolining, tumbling and double mini-trampoline.
Some of the best national and international trampolinists will be competing, including teams from Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, UK, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Spain, France, Georgia and the Netherlands.
Both competitions are organised by the Association of Parents and Friends of Loulé’s Gymnastics (APAGA) with the support of Loulé council and the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation. They will both open at 8am, running all through the day until 8pm.
