The White Night Party, described as the “event that marks the end of summer festivities” in the Algarve, will be held on Saturday, August 31 and is expected to again attract thousands of people to Loulé.
Taking place along the town’s streets, which are draped in white, the event is known for hosting dozens of concerts and DJ sets as well as a variety of street entertainment. But as always, the event’s programme will only be revealed on the day to keep the festivities a “surprise”.
This year’s party will begin at 8.03pm – at the same time as the sunset – and will continue into the night. Admission is free.
A day before the party, Loulé will also be hosting a White Race. Anyone can take part for free without needing to sign up beforehand. The only requirement is that they wear a white T-shirt.
The meeting point is at 7pm at the Aquashow waterpark in Quarteira. Organisers expect over 1,000 people to participate.
