Madeira could be on the way for its third legislative elections in 18 months if the motion of censure presented by CHEGA is successful. CHEGA cites the various corruption investigations underway involving members of the regional government, and the administration’s regional governor, Miguel Albuquerque. The archipelago’s PS Socialist party has intimated it will vote in favour of the motion (which just leaves a decision to come from JPP (Juntos Pelo Povo – which has said ‘all will be revealed’ by the end of the week…)
