PJ police have arrested a 23-year-old man in Albufeira on suspicion of attempted murder.
The man is believed to have shot a person in the early hours of Friday morning “for trivial reasons” after a despite broke out between the two and fled, having been arrested and remanded in custody the next day.
The victim was taken to Faro Hospital and remains hospitalised, the police force adds.
