In the latest horrific case of domestic violence to be reported in the Algarve, a 22-year-old man has been arrested in Portimão for allegedly “beating and threatening to kill” his 30-year-old girlfriend in front of his two-year-old daughter.
The man was taken into custody on Tuesday. As the police statement was sent out to press rooms, the man was being heard at Lagos court.
