A 73-year-old American man was rescued after accidentally falling three metres from a cliff at Cabanas Velhas beach in Vila do Bispo on Wednesday morning (November 3).
According to a statement by the national maritime authority (AMN), the man sustained head injuries and received medical assistance from local firefighters and INEM emergency services before being taken to Portimão Hospital.
