Mar Shopping Algarve in Loulé is promoting the region’s best craft beers this weekend during its first ‘Mar Beer Fest’.
Taking place between this Thursday and Sunday (October 31-November3), the event will shine the spotlight on seven beers from the Algarve – Abaladiça (Loulé); Faro Beer Company (Faro); Marafada (Algoz); Nova Vida (Loulé); Afters Brewing Co. (São Brás de Alportel); Mania (Lagos) and Moura (Tavira) – and one from the Alentejo – Estroina (Mértola).
All these beers can be tasted at the shopping centre’s outdoor terrace between 4pm and 10pm.
Herman Gewert, General Manager at MAR Shopping Algarve, says visitors can “relax while discovering some of the best beers of the Algarve in what will become our version of the famous German festival dedicated to beer”.
He adds that this new event is also a “way of giving visibility to emerging brands and small local producers”.
