Portugal’s President, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, has decided to postpone his trips to Estonia and Poland, scheduled for next week, due to the ongoing State Budget negotiations.
With the deadline for the delivery in Parliament of the proposed law for the 2025 State Budget ending on October 10 (Thursday), but with negotiations still underway between the government and PS, the President of the Republic considered it wise to postpone the trips and stay in the country, a source for the Presidency of the Republic’s office told Lusa news agency.
