President Marcelo is starting today hearing political parties with seats in parliament on what they think about ‘the situation of the country’ and their opinions at the end of this legislative session (in which 13 members of government have stepped down for various reasons). The parties will be heard in order of their size (with smallest first). The hearings will continue into Monday. Marcelo himself has called a Council of State for Thursday (July 20) to discuss and consider the overall picture of the country.
