Renovations at Lagos’ Levante market are nearing completion, the local council has announced. Nearly €300,000 has been invested to provide a more “comfortable and attractive” experience for shoppers and market vendors, including the installation of a new roof.
Also underway is the €23,461 renovation of Bensafrim market’s outdoor space.
The local council says improvements are also in the pipeline for the Odiáxere and Barão de São João markets.
