MEO XL Games returns to Portimão

Videogame fair was held at the same venue in October 2023

Portimão is preparing for the return of MEO XL Games, a videogame and esports fair which will take place at the Portimão Arena between March 1 and 3.

The event aims to cater to all videogame fans, from those who love playing retro games and who prefer to play more casually to those who take their gaming more seriously.

Several esports tournaments will be held, headlined by the Final Four of Master League Portugal, the 13th season of the country’s Counter-Strike 2 competition, with a prize pool of €5,250.

Tournaments will also be held for other popular games such as FC 24, Fornite, Rocket League, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

Younger visitors will also be able to learn more about the possibilities of pursuing education in videogame creation and of meeting Portuguese YouTube stars, such as RicFazeres.

The fair will be open between 10am and 7pm and admission will be free.
