On its way to reaching its 10th year, São Bartolomeu de Messines’ Gastronomic Week is back this year to showcase the best it has to offer in terms of gastronomy.
Taking place between November 29 and December 8, the event will feature six local restaurants which are also offering entertainment by way of poetry readings and traditional Portuguese music.
taking part are João de Deus (S.B. Messines), Café Académico (S.B. Messines), O Caixeiro (Fonte João Luís), Casa de Pasto Odília & Florival (Foz do Ribeiro), O Gralha (Vale Fuzeiros) and O Petisco (Campilhos).
The event will be launched at Casa do Povo de Messines, with a cooking demonstration and many other activities scheduled to begin at 5pm on Saturday.
