Metro tells residents waiting to return to homes, “wait a little longer”…

Over 30 households rehoused in Lisbon due to improvement works on the Metro have been given a firm date by which they can return to their homes. Residents of Travessa do Pasteleiro have been living in temporary accommodation for over 16 months. Work to reinforce their properties has concluded, but for “technical reasons”, they still cannot return to them until September. Initially, May was intimated as the date by which they could all return home.
