Metro train derails in Lisbon

A minor derailment of a train on the Lisbon Metro Green Line at Alvalade station on Friday morning did not cause any injuries, but one person had to be assisted after feeling unwell, a PSP source told Lusa news agency.

PSP were alerted at 7.50am and almost all the people had been removed from the train by 8.40am.

Contacted by Lusa, a source from the Lisbon Fire Brigade said they had sent 14 officers to the scene, with the support of four vehicles.
