The fourth and last ‘Chef & Somm: Winery Spotlight’ wine pairing dinner will be held at the Mimo Algarve cooking school at the Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira on Saturday, October 26, at 7.30pm.
For the closing event, resident sommelier Cristiano Pereira has selected a series of Croft and Vértice wines to pair with a mouthwatering menu prepared by chef Lúcia Ribeiro.
Guests will be welcomed with oysters and lime and a glass of Croft Pink & Tonic followed by ‘Carabineiro’ shrimp, pumpkin and curry paired with Vértice Rosé.
For the fish dish, Chef Lúcia will be preparing a delicious tuna, caramelised onion and Asian consommé dish with a flash of Vértice White. Also on the menu is Monchique-style ‘Cerejada’ chicken with potato terrine and wild mushrooms served with Vértice Millésime.
For dessert, the chef will prepare a lemongrass ice cream, chocolate and strawberries which will be accompanied by a glass of Croft Reserva Tawny.
Price is €85 per person and reservations can be made at Mimo Algarve at Pine Cliffs, through the Pine Cliffs Concierge service or online.
