An 84-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s who had been missing for nearly a week in Portimão was finally found on Saturday, June 15 in a private garden less than a kilometre from his house.
Joaquim Francisco was found by one of his sons with a few “bruises and scratches, disoriented and very dehydrated”.
His son, Luís Francisco, told Correio da Manhã that police had already searched the area where he was found.
