Portugal’s association of insurers (APS) has announced that the damage covered by insurance following the wildfires that broke out in Monchique actually amounts to €3 million, €1 million more than originally estimated.
The association has registered 152 cases of damages covered by insurance policies, 128 of which are covered by household insurance and 14 by commercial and industrial insurance policies.
