Carvoeiro’s five-star Monte Santo Resort will be celebrating its 10th anniversary on Saturday (August 4) with a dinner- concert featuring acclaimed Portuguese band Marta Ren and the Groovelvets.
The event begins at 7pm with a welcome cocktail, saxophone music and close-up magic.
The dinner and concert start at 8pm with guests enjoying tiger prawn fillet with bulgur, avocado, beetroot and tomato salad as a starter, followed by a ‘Crème Du Barry’ cauliflower soup with brie and pumpkin seeds.
The meal also includes fish (Corvina fillet with sautéed vegetables and raspberry sauce) and meat (beef medallion with gravy and mushrooms and asparagus ragù) dishes followed by a dessert buffet.
There will also be an anniversary cake and champagne served at 10.45pm followed by a DJ set at 11.30pm.
Price is €70 for adults and €35 for children aged three to 12. Dress code is ‘casual chic’.
