The name of the new Attorney General is expected to be announced today. The choice will be first communicated by prime minister Luís Montenegro to President Marcelo (at a meeting either late morning or early afternoon), and only then will be made public. According to reports early this morning, PS secretary-general Pedro Nuno Santos has not yet been made aware of the government’s choice for the six-year post.
