With the world embracing the World Health Organisation’s entreaties to take the stigma out of monkeypox by calling it Mpox, Portugal’s DGS health authority has “widened criteria for vaccination”, adding “people who maintain sexual practices with various partners” to the current list that basically covers ‘health professionals in contact with the virus’ and ‘men who have sex with men’.
