Lugar do Rio is located behind Portimão Arena and is open to everyone
A new culture, sports, and leisure hub entitled ‘Lugar do Rio’ has opened in Portimão.
Located in a building previously home to a restaurant behind Portimão Arena, the riverside venue features leisure areas, a street workout zone, a children’s playground, a fitness park, an outdoor amphitheatre, and soon, a 3×3 basketball court.
The new space, which is open to everyone, was inaugurated by Portimão mayor Álvaro Bila on March 29.
