PORTUGUESE POLICE want to question a man who was in Praia da Luz on the night the four-year-old Madeleine McCann disappeared.
This new development is being reported this evening (Monday) by Sky News.
It is believed the development could tie in with alleged inconsistencies in the statements of those who were with Gerry and Kate McCann on May 3.
It follows reports in the Portuguese media that police may be about to arrest a second British suspect.
It is understod that police leave has been cancelled and officers have been granted a number of new search warrants which they are expected to execute within the next 48 hours.
The latest developments come as investigators wait on DNA test results on specks of blood found inside the McCanns’s holiday apartment.
