The health ministry has announced it will be offering up to 1,479 new jobs to doctors next year – almost 1,000 of which will be going to doctors with specialties. Announcing the job bonanza, the ministry explained it was designed to “make up the lack of doctors in both specialties and underprivileged regions” of the country.
