Castro Marim Golf and Country Club has just announced it will be investing another €45 million in its year-round tourist project.
The development that provides jobs throughout the year, albeit less during the winter, is planning to link its fairways to the nearby Beliche dam so that watering is made easier. It is also hoping to increase the number of beds on offer.
In a release on the investment plans, Castro Marim mayor Francisco Amaral said “sustainable investments of this nature that contribute positively to dynamise tourism and local economic development should get all possible support from the local authority”.
