Municipal council of Lagos is investing in new housing developments in Bensafrim
The municipal council of Lagos has approved the launch of a nearly €2.5 million public tender for another housing development in Bensafrim under the Local Housing Strategy.
The new residential complex, consisting of 14 units, will be built within a municipal allotment in the heart of the inland town of Bensafrim.
The majority of the €2.5 million budget for the 14-apartment complex will be allocated to construction, the municipal council says, with a smaller portion designated for the execution plan, the council explains, adding that it opted for this contract model, which integrates both project design and construction, to “expedite the administrative processes associated with public investment.”
Another development, comprising 20 units, is also due to be built in the Lacóbriga Municipal Allotment in Bensafrim, bringing the number of new homes planned for the town to 34. Recently, another residential development featuring eight houses was also inaugurated in the town.
