Presentations, seminars and expert advice will cover residency, visas, tax, properties for sale, house prices, investment opportunities and more
A new date has been announced for the hugely popular Moving to Portugal Show and Seminars. The free-to-attend event will take place in London on March 14, 2024, providing comprehensive advice about how English citizens can make the move to Portugal.
Moving to Portugal Shows are known for their informative mix of presentations, seminars and expert advice, covering a wide range of topics. At the most recent show in London, held in October 2023, delegates cited a range of reasons for attending, including seeking advice on residency and visas (54.5%), taxation (46.6%), house prices (42.2%) and investment opportunities (37.8%), as well as other aspects of life in Portugal.
The 2024 show will feature a refreshed seminar programme, offering attendees the latest insights into the changes likely to happen in Portugal after the country’s general election on March 10, 2024.
A broad selection of exhibitors will also be present, to ensure visitors can access expert information on moving to Portugal. Exhibitors present at the event will include Visit Cascais, Life Plan Resorts (a retirement resort for healthy aging) and real estate agencies like Savills and Fine and Country with properties for sale from the Algarve in the south up to Porto in the north.
In terms of area focus, this show will have a special focus on Lisbon – including the picturesque town of Cascais, just 30km to its west – since this was a key area of interest for attendees at the last Moving to Portugal Show in autumn 2023. Back then, some 45.2% of delegates were keen to know about moving to Lisbon, with the area only pipped in popularity by the Algarve (47.7%).

The London Moving to Portugal Show will take place at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel, from 10.30am to 7.30pm.
