New protests to take place at Portugal’s mainland airports

Teachers – still battling with the government over pay increases – will be holding protests at the country’s three mainland airports (Porto, Lisbon and Faro) on April 22 (next Saturday) “to show tourists” that Portugal “does not have a valued public school system”. The initiative has been dubbed “Mission Public School”, and will go ahead from 6pm in all three airports, say reports.
