Lagoa’s Cultural Association, Ideias do Levante, is hosting a concert that combines clarinet and piano.

Ideias do Levante, Lagoa’s cultural association, is organising the first edition of the Lagoa New Year’s Recital, which will be held on January 12 at 17h00 in the Church of Carvoeiro (Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Encarnação).

The concert, organised in partnership with Lagoa’s City Hall and with the support of the Nossa Senhora da Luz parish, will feature Tiago Santos on the clarinet and Cristiana Silva on the piano.

The event aims to promote the municipality’s religious and artistic heritage, including religious spaces, artists, instruments, and works by Portuguese and foreign composers.

According to the organisation, “this recital presents works that reveal the diversity of styles possible when clarinet and piano are combined”.

The programme includes pieces from the classical repertoire to more contemporary melodies.

The concert is recommended for ages six and up and is limited to existing capacity.
