A series of nighttime walk/run events that were held in the municipality of Lagoa between July 4 and August 8 attracted around 2,500 people, the local council has announced.
The initiative is organised every year in a bid to promote physical activity and improve people’s health, wellbeing and quality of life.
The next walk/run will take place in Carvoeiro on September 8 but in the morning, at 9.30am.
