After all the stories since German police ‘came onto the scene’ in 2020, it transpires that there will be no charges brought against the man labelled ‘the final suspect’ in the various police investigations into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Christian Brückner, the man under investigation by German police for years, should be released by September, unless an appeal – by the same German police force – against his acquittal on non-related charges is upheld. German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters, who has always said he believes Bruckner “did the deed” (with regard to Madeleine), has told Sky News that he “continues focused on finding proof that links the suspect to the case”.
