Northern hotels almost sold out for Easter

The hotel occupancy rate in the Porto and Northern Portugal region for Easter will be between 85% and 90%, Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal (TPNP) has estimated. Speaking to State news agency Lusa, TPNP president Luís Pedro Martins, said he believes that the occupancy rate will be close to figures recorded last year, which means “an excellent record in terms of income”. Sadly, the weather this Easter is not expected to be ‘perfect’: temperatures will be on the chilly side, with quite a bit of rain forecast.
