After months of preparation, the third Algarve Fashion Show, due to take place in the Forum Shopping Centre in Faro on July 9, has been cancelled. Models Robert Perovich and Samuele Riva, as well as Portuguese stars modeling national and international brand names, were due to appear at the show. But, international supermodel Naomi Campbell was to have been the star of the event. Now, according to José Pacheco, one of the show’s designers, the event has been cancelled because of Naomi’s “unreasonable demands”. Pacheco hopes to reorganise the event for September, but told The Resident he will not be inviting Campbell to take part.
