O-negative ‘corruption’ case: Judge throws out bulk of charges

Judge Ivo Rosa – known for ruling against Public Prosecutors – has done it again in the case of O-negative (often dubbed ‘Blood Mafia’), throwing out the crimes of corruption and money laundering against three defendants. Public Prosecutors have asked for suspension of this pre-trial process, to analyse Judge Rosa’s decisions. O-negative involves years of investigation. Judge Rosa’s reasoning is based on time limits. As far as he is concerned, the time limits on corruption and money laundering have expired.
