Olhão Câmara has introduced a new urban public transport system. With two buses and around 80 bus stops, the Olhão Circuit covers an area of over 17 kilometres. A câmara spokesman explained: “The new bus service aims to revolutionise the way the population moves around the city, bringing locals together and making the city more accessible.” The circuit has two 35-seat buses operating on two lines, yellow and green, which take passengers to various locations, such as the public swimming pool, supermarkets and the municipal stadium.
