Olhão Council has celebrated the success of a two-day campaign to showcase the wonderful animals up for adoption and raise much-needed food for the borough’s animal associations.
Held last weekend (April 1-2) at the Marina Ria Center, the event helped raise one tonne of animal food which will be divided between the municipality’s animal associations. Donations can still be made until Sunday at the municipal police, Ria Shopping, Gymnasium and Marina Ria Center.
The event also marked the presentation of a new animal association – Associação Abrigo Guardiã.
