Lagoa’s cultural association Ideias do Levante, in a partnership with Silves municipality, is presenting an Opera Night Gala on November 16 in the Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório, in Silves at 9.30pm.
Carla Pontes (soprano), Francisco Brazão (bass-baritone) and Cristiana Silva (pianist) will interpret excerpts from operas by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Gounod, Wagner and Offenbach.
The theatre seats 150 people and tickets may be purchased in advance from November 4 at Silves castle, museum, municipal swimming pool or at the ticket office in the theatre on the day from 8.30pm. Tickets cost €8 for the public in general and €5 for members of Ideias do Levante, children and teenagers aged under 18, and the over 65s.
