Organ Festival in Faro

Each Saturday of November from 9.30pm, the churches of Faro will be filled with the sound of pipe organ music. Organist André Bandeira will open the seventh Organ Festival this Saturday, November 1, at Igreja do Carmo. On the 8th, organist Daniel Ribeiro will be joined by Teresa Ramos playing the oboe at the same church. At the Sé, the historical organ will be played by Rui Soares on the 15th, young musician José Carlos Araújo will delight all on the 22nd and Czech organist Pavel Černý prepares for a grand performance on the 29th.
