Over 51,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the Algarve, the national health board (DGS) has revealed.
The board’s latest weekly vaccination report shows that 5,621 people were vaccinated in the Algarve last week.
However, only 8% of the region’s population has received the first jab while only 3% has received both.
