As Portugal’s political parties are focused on the issues of the day – namely the housing crisis/ immigration/ inflation – PCP communists have managed to be different by commenting that the United States’ president’s visit to Ukraine today could be ‘adding war to war’. American President Joe Biden nonetheless has pledged Ukraine additional armaments, and reaffirmed his government’s unquestionable support for the country invaded by Russian forces on February 24 last year.
