Pet Corner – From cereal munchies to serial monsters

The alarming incidence of children terrorising animals is rising. The largest independent broadcaster’s video footage of children, primary school ages, targeting creatures with catapults.

Such “grooming” of children is used via WhatsApp, attracting groups of bored brats testing their killing instincts beginning by torturing luckless wildlife in their surrounding denizens. Unsuspecting parents may have not noticed that Johnny has gone missing in the dusky hours of the evening or morning, armed with a catapult and some ammo. The question, of course, arises – where does little darling get the kit from?

The grooming agencies, of course, have it all planned. Each group has a colour code. Groups are identified on video by their purple, blue, yellow-coloured lethal rubber sling held by a stout metal frame. The ammo is also designed for the use of killing, maiming small rodents, badgers, squirrels, swans.

Cunningly, children are harnessed at an early age via ‘Commando’ style video footage. So, what will Johnny want to target his adventurous skills on after his primary school years? Neighbour’s cat? Dog? Serial killers start very young and early in this manner. The profiles of many are in the halls of fame/documentaries. Because Whatsapp is a viable open platform, it is international, global. Whomsoever started this had a plan.

The catapult of yore was a branch cut into a shape and a piece of string with pebbles to hit conkers off a tree. A harmless enough children’s toy, certainly not a lethal weapon. Or is it?
